Beach Trip!!!

Sorry I havent kept up the blog, but I have a lot to tell all of you, so here goes.

Last week was kind of super-ultra-extra stressful so my family took a road trip to Fort Myers and I basically spent the entire weekend knitting on a beach staring at the gorgeous sand and knitting and tanning.
here is an instagram picture of the sunset
It was kind of wonderful and amazing. It was the first time I spent a weekend just knitting and relaxing and just having fun the entire time, of course I didnt get any work done on my school stuff, but it could wait. I do have to maintain my sanity.

So I hadn't done much in the way of knitting, but I did get to cast on and finish the clever wingspan, which is a wonderful scarf made from short row triangles. I usually try not to knit things that are as popular as wingspan. I am what is called a "hipster" in the vernacular. I don't usually like things that are too main stream. I decided that this was good enough to ignore those tendencies and I casted it on, and I finished it over the weekend and I blocked it. I kind of love it a lot. It is out of fleece artist sea wool.

So I kind of had a wonderful time last weekend, now if only every weekend could be like that.
